so i had to say goodbye to one of my closest friends tonight... dietlind is moving to florida with her girls on thursday, and as happy as i am that she's finally making the move back to the states, i'm even sadder to see her go... i've known her for years, moved once and left her, and now she's leaving me. such is life as an expat. people are always coming and going, it seems like it's one goodbye after another.
this one is particularly hard.
