so about 7 years ago i registered a domain name and started a little website for the girls in an attempt to learn html. it hasn't been updated in years, and my html skills never progressed beyond the very basic.
a few weeks ago i had an offer to buy the website... i spoke to my lawyer (brother-in-law) who just happened to help negotiate the sale of business.com, and he gave me a little negotiation advice. when i got my first offer, it was waaaay lower than i expected. i countered. he countered. i just let it sit for a while, and today i emailed him back with my final offer.
if they take it, i could pay for a good part of our vacation to france in august (or take sean somewhere else), and then donate a good portion of money back to the greyhound/galgo rescue groups we work with. but i need to be able to do both.
anyway, cross your fingers that they will take it. cause i'm not going any lower.
UPDATE: well, they accedted my offer, which makes me think i should have gone for a bit more! oh well, we'll have a great trip and some greyhounds will get to eat, so all is wunderbar...
