don't stop me now...

The day after Abby died Sean and I curled up on the couch that night and watched the movie "Shaun of the Dead." I remember being so tired and falling asleep throughout most of the movie, but waking up during the zombie fighting scene in the bar. The song they played during this scene was "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. It became my anthem for Abby's passing, and has remained so the last three years and four months. Every time I hear it (and I hear it a lot as it's on my running playlist) I think of her, look up and smile.

The past day the song has been running through my head again and again as I think about Mara. I think you'll find, whatever your beliefs, that you understand why it touched me so and why it will always remind me of my sweet girls and bring a smile to my face.
