i've signed up for the prague half-marathon next march, and i'm looking forward to some runs there, and checking out the race course. oh, and christmas shopping! and since the czech republic is a member of the EU but has not yet changed currencies (and will likely not begin any time soon) i will be able to enjoy a change from the euro to the koruna. at press time, one dollar = 18.6 koruna, and one euro = 25 koruna. it's always fun (and slightly confusing since i have inherited my mother's math skills) to deal in higher numbers. i've always wished i had visited italy pre-euro...
here's a photo from abby and mara's first trip to prague. it will be mara's third trip this round, and the first for bonita and rena. i'm sure they are very excited.
