So we're moving. I don't think this will come as a surprise to anyone who reads this blog (if anyone even bothers to stop by anymore - hi mom!), but I'm making an official expatty announcement. As of February 2010, I'll be drinking tea, wearing wellies, and attempting to speak the Queen's English. To be fair, I already drink a lot of tea and wear wellies almost daily...I also want to apologize to a new blog reader (welcome!) for anything I say about your home country that may offend you along the road, should you decide to come back. I'm sure I'll love it. But I guarantee you there will be days when it pisses me off.
Stay tuned for the story of the house-hunting trip, folks.

How exciting! I'm completely envious.
Will you be living in London? What is England's quarantine policy on bringing doggies into the country?
Hi Kelly,
You do have one other regular. I enjoy your posts and look forward to new offering.
Try the walking Pub Tour in London if you get a chance. It was great.
Love You,
Lonnie
Lorin - we'll be living in Maidenhead, just outside of London near Windsor. The dogs have been to England before, there's no quarantine if you prep six months in advance, which i did long ago, so they can drive right in!
Lonnie - I'm glad to know you're reading the blog! One of my NYRs is to blog more often! Should be interesting as we adjust to a new culture! We'll definitely try the pub tour! Let me know if you want to come visit - you're always welcome!
